LK's portable smoker ensures that your meat tastes good and keeps its delicious flavour. Due to its quality stainless steel interior and exterior, it is built to last generations!
How To Use The LK's Smoker
- Place your smoker on a solid, non-combustible levelled surface such as a table or concrete.
- For convenience and easier cleaning, line the bottom of your smoker with tin foil.
- Spread a thin layer of sawdust on the foil, approximately 3 to 6 heaped tablespoons.
- Gently tap the dust to ensure an even spread.
- Insert the metal grid.
- Position and place your seasoned food on the grid and close the lid.
- In the burning tray, sprinkle 1/3 cup of methylated spirits evenly on the smoker wool, push into the slot beneath the smoker and ignite.
- The wool will start to burn for approximately 10 minutes and you can repeat if desired.
- Please ensure to keep the fuel container well clear of flames or any flammable objects.
- Cooking times will vary depending on the type and size of meat.
- Once finished, simple remove the foil or use any non-abrasive household cleaner.
* VERY IMPORTANT: When smoking chicken or pork (thick portions of meat) – add Sawdust from the second light of the smoker (otherwise your food will have a bitter taste). After the flame has died, leave it closed for 10 min for the smoke to settle and meat to rest. The meat will continue cooking from the residual heat.
