Our Cast Iron 3-legged bake pots are oil-cured and ready for use. They are heavy-duty, very robust, and can be used in an open fire, over warm coals, or on a stovetop. The 3-legged bake pot is a unique version of the traditional bake pot which can be used over warm coals without the use of a tripod / pot stand. These pots are not only ideal for potjie-kos and stews, but also perfect for bread, puddings, and other bakes. Oil-cured pots are NOT dishwasher safe and will rust if not cleaned, dried, and stored properly.
